Technology: from novelty to daily use These days technology is everywhere, from computers to mobile phones; even everyday objects are “smart ” . But all of this wasn ’ t the same a few years ago. I interviewed a computer technician (my dad) t o find about the evolution of t echnology. 30 years ago, if you wanted to reach out to someone, you would either send them a postcard or call them landline. However, the introduction of mobile phones completely transformed the communication landscape. Initially, the widespread use of mobile phones created a sense of unease, as there was an expectation to answer every call. Gradually, people began to realize that they had the freedom to choose whether or not they wanted to answer incoming calls.
